Spanish paprika, known locally as pimenton, comes in various varieties. This variety is hot, or picante, with a spicy heat.
Paprika dissolves well in oil or other liquids to spread colour and flavour through a dish, but the small particle size burns easily, so take care.
Please note paprika is sensitive to light, so it is advisable to store this spice in a dark place to prevent fading.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place away from heat.
