Tie spices in cheesecloth, muslin bag, or tea strainer. Or use a fine mesh sieve after simmering. To make mulled red wine combine 750 mL of red wine with 2-3 heaped tbsp of spice blend, and 1/3 cup sugar or honey. Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes. Strain and serve. To make mulled apple cider combine 8 cups of apple cider with 2-3 heaped tbsp of spice blend. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and serve.
