White Sesame Seeds
This variant is currently sold out.
Sesame seeds are rich in oil with a mild, nutty and earthy taste. This taste is intensified by lightly toasting. Black coloured sesame seeds are better suited to strongly flavoured recipes in comparison to pale coloured, white seeds that work well in sweet applications and to make pastes like tahini. Popular in Asia, by China, Japan, India and Middle Eastern countries alike. An essential component of bread making, and also used to make Asian sesame oils. Also, an appealing garnish for all kinds of food.
Sesame seeds are susceptible to going rancid due to their high oil content, we recommend storing them in the fridge, as they will keep longer.
